We are deeply saddened by the shooting that took place during an open-air music festival at a hotel in Las Vegas in the United States which claimed many lives and left many people injured.

We follow the developments regarding the incident. Our Consulate General in Los Angeles is in contact with the local security authorities and hospitals to find out whether there are Turkish citizens among the deceased or the injured.

We condemn this heinous attack and share the grief of the people of the US. We convey our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wish speedy recovery to those who are wounded.

We reiterate our solidarity with the US in the face of this grave attack.
